通訳サービス

It is a challenge to be in a community where you do not have the language of the community or one’s language is not quite sufficient,especially when you need to go to a hospital, or take care of official registrations at the City Hall. We will provide support for you at medical and administrative offices with a language support volunteer so that you will receive fair public services.

病院（びょういん）で診察（しんさつ）を受（う）けるとき、市役所（しやくしょ）で手続（てつづ）きをするときに通訳（つうやく）ボランティアが、みなさんの不安（ふあん）を取（と）り除（のぞ）き、公平（こうへい）なサービスが受（う）けられるよう、お手伝（てつだ）いします。

Interpretion Services at Municipal Offices

行政通訳（ぎょうせいつうやく）サービス

When moving to Suita City, you need to visit the City Hall for various procedures such as relocation papers or national health insurance. When you have a child, you will be requested to apply for schools: nursery school, kindergarten, primary or secondary level education. Language support volunteers are available for you.Even though you are settled in Suita City, various questions and concerns may arise, such as “how do we discard trash/garbage?” or “which school should our child attend?” Make an appointment with a language support volunteer at a City Hall. They will answer your questions or sort out your concerns.

吹田市（すいたし）への転入（てんにゅう）、国民（こくみん）健康（けんこう）保険（ほけん）の加入（かにゅう）など、市役所（しやくしょ）での手続（てつづ）きや、保育園（ほいくえん）・幼稚園（ようちえん）や小学校（しょうがっこう）、中学校（ちゅうがっこう）での懇談会（こんだんかい）などで、通訳（つうやく）ボランティアサービスが利用（りよう）できます。

病院通訳（びょういんつうやく）サービス

Without a sufficient level of the local language, it would be difficult to inform doctors what your symptoms are, or understand the doctors’ diagnoses. Suita City offers medical translation services for you. As of now this services is availableat: Suita Municipal Hospital, Saisekikai Suita Hospital, Saisekikai Senri Hospital and Suita City Health Center. We are working to extend this service to more hospitals and clinics.Suita International Friendship Association (SIFA) is responsible for this language support. 医療通訳（いりょうつうやく）ボランティアは、みなさんが適切（てきせつ）な医療（いりょう）サービスが受（う）けられるようサポートします。
